The Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) Manitoba Region and Service Quality Partners (SQP) are pleased to present this webinar. This session will focus on how governments in Canada and around the world are applying behavioural insights (BI) to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Sasha Tregebov from BIT Canada will share successful strategies for encouraging residents to take protective actions like social distancing and mask use, and discuss how BI can be used to help continue to mitigate the risk of transmission while also supporting economic recovery and growth.

Sasha is the Director of the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) Canada. Sasha opened BIT's Canadian office in 2019, before which he led BIT's work with US local governments through the What Works Cities program. Before joining BIT, Sasha was a policy advisor with the Ontario Public Service, and a manager in Deloitte's public sector consulting group. Sasha is passionate about helping Canadian governments better understand and use behavioural insights.
