About this event
Hello everyone!
This is our third year of producing the Bellydance Dinner Showcase 2022, formerly known as the Van Isle Bellydance Dinner Extravaganza and we hope you are ready to start your holiday season right!
This event is for the general public and belly dance enthusiasts alike. Start your holiday season right! Enjoy a three-set show with a 4-course buffet dinner by Greek on the Street, and a cash bar. Belly dance of all levels, from novice to seasoned professionals will be showcased for YOUR entertainment! There will also be draw prizes, a friendly quiz competition between tables and a contest . . . .
This will be a pre-sale event only. Cut off November 12.
In previous years we collected food for the food bank and toys for Santa’s Anonymous. This year we are fundraising: 30% of all profits from the showcase will go towards printing and distributing costs for a textbook for schools in Banda, a rural community in Ghana, Africa, that highlights local knowledge and culture. This project is very close to Allison’s heart after working with the people there for the past year and travelling there in July and is planning more projects and a return visit in 2023.
