About This Event

Newcomers to Canada will learn about the Canada Child Benefit, Disability Tax Credit, GST, Canada Workers Benefit, and Residency. The session explains what you need to know about income taxes and benefit and credit payments when you are new to Canada or doing your taxes for the first time.

Who Should Attend?

Open to newcomers, international students, service providers, settlement staff, and community members wanting to understand how benefits and credit payments work in Canada and how to qualify.

This session may also be available for in person viewing with Ruth at the St Paul Campus, Room 112. Please indicate if you will be attending online or in person when registering.
