Description

Comedy Nuggets presents the Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show for an amazing night of laughs!

Every month Luke Lynndale assembles an amazing lineup by inviting three headliners. The show is always hilarious, thought provoking, and silly. On February 14, Comedy Nuggets presents a special edition of Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show for Valentine's Day.

Luke is a stand-up comic, improvisor, actor and writer. He is a graduate of The Second City Sketch Program, Montreal School of Performing Arts, co-founder of critically acclaimed improv duo, DUO DAD, and founding member of Shakespeare improv troupe, We Happy Few. Luke's acting credits include Betrayal (Montreal School of Performing Arts), and Arsenic and Old Lace (Village Players). He has performed in Comedy Brawl (2017, 2018), Comedian of the North (2019), the Boston Improv Festival (2018), Big City Improv Festival (2013, 2017), World’s Biggest Improv Festival (2016, 2017, 2018), and Best of Toronto Sketch (2018).

Join us on The Danforth at the Social Capital Theatre's cozy 2nd floor.

Our headliners include -

TOMMY MARSHALL
Raised in the Ottawa valley, Tommy quickly learned the art of story telling and taking the piss out of himself from his hilarious grandmother. After a relocation to Montreal for film school he quickly switched from that pipe dream for another; a life in comedy. Whether regaling embarrassing moments of his life or scrutinizing someone else’s, this salty dog will continue to update you on the absurdity of the human condition.

JENNIFER HSIUNG
Jennifer is a Canadian television presenter and journalist best known for her work at China Central Television's (CCTV) English-language international network, CGTN (China Global Television Network). The Toronto native first relocated to Beijing in 2006, and joined CCTV as a sports anchor. In the summer of 2008, she covered the country's first-ever Olympic Games, and enhanced exposure to the Games by being one of the first few to report from many of the city's newly constructed Olympic venues, such as the iconic Bird's Nest Stadium and The Watercube.

FOAD HP
Foad is an actor, writer, and stand-up from Toronto. His work has been featured in Just For Laughs, JFL42, Kevin Hart's LOL Network, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud, SiriusXM, and he is the winner of the 2016 Toronto Comedy Brawl. He has also made guest appearances on Nikita and American Gods. Having only been performing stand-up since 2012, Foad has made great strides in the industry. A regular at Absolute Comedy in Toronto, Foad has performed at many Canadian comedy institutions, including The Comedy Mix in Vancouver, and even headlined the legendary Nubian Show at Yuk Yuk’s in Toronto.
