January 16 - Six Ways to Foster a Climate of Belonging/ Inclusion at Work: Do you have employees from different culture, age, and backgrounds? In this session, Ada Tai, an HR professional who herself represents multiple traits of diversity, suggests six ways to help you foster a climate of belonging and inclusion.

February 20 - Workplace Investigations & Terminations: Investigating workplace employee complaints and employee conduct issues can be complicated and can have a negative rippling effect if done poorly. The investigation can lead to the decision of whether or not to terminate employment and must be approached in a careful, well thought out manner. In this workshop, guidelines for conducting effective investigations are discussed as well as how to determine if termination is an appropriate outcome.

March 6 - Policies/ Procedures: Are your HR policies and procedures adequate for your organization? Can you remember when they were last reviewed? Are the essentials present to help mitigate potential Human Rights claims, Health and Safety concerns, or even litigation? This workshop will help you identify and build these key components of your HR structure. We’ll explore how to build effective policies and corresponding procedures. You will also gain confidence to identify gaps and utilizing a simple template to build effective new policies and procedures specific to your needs.

March 27 - HR's Strategic Role During Times of Change: Rapid changes in the landscape of work is evident in today's workplaces. What is the role of Human Resources for change to be received within your organization?
