Join us for an educational presentation and panel discussion on best practices in early stage investing with Rubicon Venture Capital, a NYC / SF based early stage fund that is an active investor in Vancouver. The presentation will focus on five key topics: overview of funding mechanisms and the pros and cons of each, evaluating startups for investment, portfolio construction and management, planning for follow on capital raises and working with later stage VCs. The presentation and Q&A session will be followed by a panel discussion with experienced local angel investors sharing their experiences and war stories.
This event is open to active and aspiring angel investors and family offices. The goal is to discuss best practices for investing and supporting your angel investments to position them for continued growth and support from later stage capital.
