Senior scholars at the University of Waterloo/Balsillie School of International Affairs invite HR leaders from Canada’s top-performing companies in terms of gender diversity to participate in a targeted strategy session focused on sharing best practices on achieving workforce gender parity in Canada.

Spearheading the project is Dr. Bessma Momani, Professor of Political Science at the University of Waterloo and the Balsillie School of International Affairs, and Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI).

The event is being held with support from the Government of Canada and will be attended by business professionals from various sectors across the country. Findings will be used to inform federal government policy efforts to promote gender diversity. Keynote Speakers will include The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, CTV New Anchor Lisa LaFlamme, and Former Premier of Ontario, Kathleen Wynne.

All expenses (including travel and accommodation) will be covered for those attending the conference. We are accepting registrations until January 18th, 2019. We will notify participants with more details on January 25th, 2019. This event is open only to individuals and organizations based in Canada.
