This introductory workshop will help not-for-profits prioritize which funders, potential sponsors, beneficiaries of their service, and others, they should be communicating with. This approach will support activities towards their funding needs, social impact, service or product delivery, and help them to be as effective as possible – in terms of time, energy, and resources.


At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will have:

  • The ability to find and use (research) demographic, psychographic and firmographic information to their advantage;
  • The understanding that marketing does not equal advertising, and they can successfully market their organization and what it offers without traditional advertising; and
  • A template and ability to create a 12-month action plan that can be easily sustained.

Before launching Frank Growth Solutions, Frank worked as a general manager of Rainsoft Regina Ltd. and launched MassageWorks in Winnipeg. He eventually sold the company after 10 successful years and put his experience to work providing workshops and one-on-one guidance to social entrepreneurs and not-for-profit/small business start-ups.

Frank draws from a deep network of trusted colleagues to provide wrap-around solutions for all your organizational needs. Some of his valued clients include the City of Winnipeg, Volunteer Manitoba, Volunteer Victoria, FortWhyte Alive, Sscope Inc., L'Arche Winnipeg, Anxiety Disorders Association of MB, S.A.M.
