Arts & Wellness
with Georgia Webber, Helen Donnelly and Sharona Bookbinder
This full day workshop will look at the role of the arts in healthcare. The use of artistic practises in healthcare, wellness and mental health is a wide-ranging movement that illustrates how the arts enhance lives and impact patient care, hospital environments, care for caregivers, and community-building within medical and therapy settings. This workshop will explore the role that artists can play in healthcare and the various training and basic attributes needed to expand into this field.
We would like to acknowledge funding support from the Ontario Arts Council, an agency of the Government of Ontario.
