We will have spent May sowing and transplanting, and things are coming up. But there is more to do to have a successful edible garden, especially in Calgary!

Come join us and learn about:

• Cultural practices-Weeding, Thinning, Pinching back, Staking, Hilling and Blanching;

• Water and Soil conservation techniques

• Insects, weeds, and pathogens -IPM

• Early harvests and succession planting

• Keeping the garden going into early fall.

As this is a webinar, on the day of the workshop you will receive an email giving you the log-in information to the GoToMeeting online platform. Simply login a few minutes using the link before the workshop starts and we will have an interactive Workshop during this time of self-isolation.

Why pre-paid registrations ?

To ensure that Beyond Kale is sustainable over time, there is a registration fee for all workshops. We are planning many more hands on workshops!. Net revenue goes to the Host Community Garden for their benefit!

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are available up to a day before the workshop should you not be able to attend if you or a member of your family have fallen ill with COVID-19

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Not at all. We will have a check in list

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

For sure, just tell us who you are replacing!
