Event description

Description

Understanding the meaning of behaviors in Neurocognitive Disorders is an essential step to make substantive progress in developing pharmacological and behavioral interventions. This workshop will help clinicians:

1) Identify individual behavioral symptoms.

2) Identify and define behavioral categories.

3) Incorporate the individual behavioral symptoms into these categories.

This will provide a framework to assist the clinician in developing the meaning and purpose of the behavior for the patient. This added understanding for the presence of behaviors should assist the clinician in developing behavioral interventions that are sustainable and affordable, thereby optimizing the use of medications.
