Event description

We are excited to invite you to another installment of our Brewmaster Dinner Series. We have partnered with the fine folks of Beyond the Pale Brewing Co to bring you a 4 course dinner with beer pairing. (plus a welcome beer)

A bit about Beyond the Pale:

"We are an Ottawa based brewery started by locals of the area. What started as a drunken talk over some homebrew, has grown into the business before you. Located in the heart of Ottawa at Unit 108, 250 City Centre, we now produce a wide range of amazing tasting beers. We have a taproom and retail space open six days of the week and we help support and host a variety of events within the city. We have never forgotten where we started so all decisions are made with a beer in hand. Be sure to visit us when in town."

Menu Below!

Welcome Beer

Get Schooled Red IPA

This beer has all the taste of a Summer IPA backed with a bold, rich malt body. It is our Community brew with The Canadian National Institute for the Blind where 1$ from every beer sold goes to their Beyond the Classroom Program.

First Course

Chicken Liver Pate

Crepes and fennel seeds.

Clean Cut Kolsch

This Kolsch inspired ale came about after Jean Benoit visited Koln for a holiday. There are notes of straw, floral hops yet provides a clean bitter finish. A throwback to the days of sun and patios.

Second Course

French Onion Soup

Roasted Onions and extra old cheddar.

Darkness Oatmeal Stout

What lurks in the husks of chocolate malt and roasted barley? Why, the necessary brew-stuff to produce a robust and creamy stout emanating boldly roasted coffee and dark chocolate flavors. The richness of the roast finds it's textural delivery by way of a velvet oatmeal blanket.

Poulet Chasseur
Mushrooms, crouton, potato croquette

Red Rocket Ale
This winter red ale has deep red colour and is made with Munich malts. But don’t be fooled it has a fresh bite of hops to compliment the rich malts.

Crème Brule Float

Graham crumbs, French ice cream, plums

Heavy Scottish Ale

Heavy is a stronger version of a scotch ale developed with a rich malty body, backed up with caramel and dark fruits flavors and a healthy bitterness to balance it all out.

Please email lansdowneevents@craftbeermarket.ca if you have any questions about the dinner!
