Important: This event is held on the first clear night starting with the event date and time above. If the Friday event is cancelled, it is rescheduled for Saturday at the same time and Sunday at the same time if Saturday's event is cancelled. See your confirmation email for details.
If you are not available for at least two of these nights, in fairness to others who are, please don't reserve tickets.
The Open Houses last about 90 minutes and involve looking at various astronomical objects through our big telescope and discussing the nature of these objects.
Suitable for ages 8 and up. Note that the observatory is NOT accessible - there are two flights of stairs.
COVID-19: Masks are required on SMU campus. All guests must bring and wear a mask. If you are feeling unwell, please cancel your ticket and join us in the next event, we'll happily help you reschedule.
