BGOW x SALOMON 6TH ANNUAL FIRST DAY HIKE
Overview
Join BGOW for our 6th annual “First Day Hike” to start the year off right!
This year, we invite you to celebrate with us a little closer to home, at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area, and with the support of Salomon. This event has been foundational to how we begin our year and has created a mindful and intentional experience for those who have attended.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area is located just a stone's throw away from Toronto (approx 45 minutes to 1 hour) and is one of Ontario’s natural treasures. On this hike, you will have the opportunity to view the thousand-year-old cedars growing throughout the park, and your eyes might even land on an owl taking a nap as one of the many birds that call this conservation area home. With beautiful trails, stunning bird life, and opportunities for animal tracking, Rattlesnake Point offers the perfect landscape for a slow and scenic morning adventure.
Pack your curiosity and come prepared to hike, build community, and share your intentions for the year ahead.
The first ten (10) returning participants who register by Monday, December 8th, will receive a special gift from Salomon in recognition of their continued support of the BGOW Community. Please note that gifts will only be distributed in person on the day of the event.
No need to worry! If you missed the date for the special gift, you can still register and join us for a great day on the trails.
For the safety of our participants, the exact meeting location will be sent via email to registered participants.
HIKE DIFFICULTY: Beginner-friendly. Expect 5-7 km at a relaxed pace with breaks.
TERRAIN: Trails may be snowy or uneven. We move slowly and stay together as a group.
