The undisputed heavyweight of Canadian Prairie blues, he took his first guitar lesson from John Hammond and got to open up for Muddy Waters. Dave was recently installed as a Member of the Order of Canada for his musical influence in Delta and Chicago blues and for his mentorship of musicians.
