Merde Je t’aime Again MJTA a été nominé pour un Just For Laughs "Best Comedy Award", "Montreal Clown Award" et a été un des "Mervyn Stutter's Pick of Fringe" pour le Fringe d'Edinburgh 2017. Le spectacle est écrit par le vétéran du Festival Fringe Rachelle Elie, les paroles par Elie et le musicien britannique Luke Jackson qui assure également l'accompagnement musical tout au long du spectacle.
Diplômée de l'Université Bishop et du Studio 58 de Vancouver, Rachelle Elie a présenté cinq one-woman-shows originaux à travers le Canada, fait de la comédie à Toronto depuis le début des années 90 et maintenant habite a Ottawa. Elle a été nominée pour un Canadian Comedy Award dans la catégorie "BEST BREAKOUT ARTIST" et son CD Shit I'm Love With You Again est diffusé sur SIRIUS XM Canada Laughs.
Bilingue depuis son enfance, elle travaille maintenant dans les deux langues et joue régulièrement en français dans les différents clubs de comédie québécois. En septembre Rachelle a participé à la Le Gatineau Festival D’Humour.

Merde Je T’aime Again MJTA was nominated for a Just For Laughs “Best Comedy Award”, “Montreal Clown Award” and was one of “Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of Fringe” for the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe. The show is written by Fringe Veteran Rachelle Elie, Lyrics by Elie and U.K. musician Luke Jackson who also performs musical accompaniment throughout the show.
A graduate of Bishop’s University and Vancouver's Studio 58, Rachelle Elie has toured five original one-woman shows across Canada, did comedy in Toronto since the early 90’s and now lives in Ottawa. She was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award in the category of “BEST BREAKOUT ARTIST” and her CD Shit I’m Love With You Again is on SIRIUS XM Canada Laughs. Bilingual since her childhood she now works in both languages and plays regularly in comedy clubs of Montreal. In Sept she participated in The Gatineau Festival d’Humour.

Rachelle is a comedian, actress and producer based out of Ottawa. Since 2001 she has written and performed five one-woman shows and has toured across Canada and the US. She won an Outstanding Comedy Award with the Ottawa Fringe for her show JOE: The Perfect Man and recently performed her one woman show S#!t I’m In Love With You Again (SIILWYA) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. SIILWYA was invited to be a part of the Off-Broadway Encore Series in New York. In 2018 Rachelle was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Awardand a Just For Laughs Comedy Award. She has participated in the First Air Arctic Comedy Festival in Iqaluit, HubCap Comedy Festival in New Brunswich, Women In Comedy Festival in Boston twice and Just For Laughs 42 in Toronto. She has been producing The Rag Bag Cabaret since the 90’s and The Rash Comedy Bash since 2017. Last summer Rag Bag Cabaret along with her new stand up comedy show: Lady Rash (Don’t Google it) was chosen to be in the prestigious ZooFest Off Just For Laughs in Montreal. Elie’s CD S#!t I’m In Love With You Again plays regularly on Just For Laughs Radio SIRIUS XM. During the pandemic Rachelle has done virtual comedy for Good Foods, Altima, CMPA, Canada Revenue Agency and Ericsson to name a few. In July 2021 her comedy will be featured on the Just For Laughs Originals Label and she recently performed in the Festival D’Humour a Gatineau. She is presently working on a Comedy Pilot En Francais in Montreal and will be touring France with Can Fran Comedy festival next summer!
