What it is all about

SoCraTes stands for “International Conference for Software Craft and Testing”

SoCraTes is an international, non-profit and community-run (un)conference about Software Craftsmanship. It’s a creative place for intense discussions and rich learnings between passionate developers.

Location and audience

The first edition of SoCraTes in Canada will happen at Selenia Lodge (Amherst, QC), which is a very Canadian place to enjoy the amazing winter nature, and an atypical location that promotes creative thinking.

We expect 20 attendees. No speakers. Only passionate people who are interested in the Software Craftsmanship culture.

Schedule

The event will be run as a two day Open Space.

Open Space means there is no agenda, or rather: you set the agenda. This is your time, make the best of it! For ideas about what you can do in advance have a look at this article.

Facilitation will be in English.

Ticket details

The ticket for SoCraTes-CA includes:
- Two nights (from March 13th to 15th) at Selenia Lodge
- 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners
- Winter and relaxation activities
