Dragonflies? Damselflies? Join us on this Blitzing Biathlon to learn about these fun little insects!

About this event

What's the difference between dragonflies and damselflies? How many species are there? What do they do and how are they important? If you didn't think there was much to learn about these unique looking insects, come out and learn otherwise!

You'll get exclusive access to our beautiful and private Nature Reserves to discover the wonderful world of Dragonflies and Damselflies. Learn more about these flying wonders while helping the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust collect valuable biological information and contribute to valuable citizen science!

The events will be held simultaneously at two different locations Schomberg, ON; MapleCross Nature Reserve (even topography) and Happy Valley Nature Reserve (hilly topography). Please indicate if you need a specific location to to accommodate any mobility needs.

To best protect our participants, volunteers, and staff, everyone on-site aged 12 and older will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus (at least 14 days prior to the event). Please wear your mask when social distancing of 6 feet is not possible.
