An exciting film premiere that can't be missed
@ Cabbagetown Cultural Festival,
Toronto's largest neighbourhood party of the year.


Birth of a City the story of Toronto, is a short film performed with live narration and the music of Flutist David Blackmore and the Flying Alphonso's (keyboards, drums, vocals and violin). Explore Toronto's indigenous roots, major achievements, contributions of immigrants and some of the major developments shaping this vibrant and diverse city. A 20 minute highly entertaining production.

A Canada 150 celebration, written and produced by David Blackmore, presented by NewArts Inc. and principal sponsor LiUNA local 183. Supported by Canada Summer Jobs.
