Do your dashboards or reports pass the 'so what' test?

About this Event

Do your dashboards or reports pass the 'so what' test?

This interactive workshop is designed for anyone tasked with creating dashboards, who uses data to make decisions, or wishes their metrics would result in meaningful change.

What We'll Cover:

  • Numbers Don't Lie, That Doesn't Mean You Should Trust Them - Learn a critical approach to Business Intelligence and places results in the correct context
  • KPIs - Avoid Chasing Results That Don't Inspire Action - If a KPI doesn't inspire action, why are you looking at it? Work through activities designed to help you determine what your team needs to be measuring for the short and long term.
  • The Good, Bad & Ugly of Presenting Data for Your Audience - Bad visualizations abound and good visualizations fall flat with the wrong audience. Identify what makes a visual leap from the screen to a real-life decision, while also recognizing how to present information for three different key audiences.
