About this Event
Black Career Conference (BCC) is the largest conference of its kind in Canada, attracting over 250 Black attendees in 2020 to connect with industry professionals. This year, BCC is expanding into a two-day virtual conference on January 15th & 16th
Day 1: Black Entrepreneurship on Friday, January 15th will centre around the BCC Pitch Competition. 8 finalists have been selected to pitch their business ideas. The winners will receive $20,000 in prize money.
Come support Black entrepreneurship! Attendees will vote for their favourite pitch to receive additional prize money. A keynote speech from Director X will conclude the competition.
Day 2: Black Careers on Saturday, January 16th will include:
15 panels with representatives from across industries including medicine, technology, international development, law, engineering, creative & cultural industries, and more!
8 sponsor sessions hosted by McKinsey & Company, TD, BMO Capital Markets, IGM Financial, Oliver Wyman, Mercer, CIBC, and OTPP
Keynote speeches will be delivered by Angelita Graham, Mercer Canada’s Toronto Office Leader, and Deland Kamanga, Head of Global Markets at BMO
