About this event
The event will celebrate Black History Month in February 2023.
The proceeds will support Education for Somali Girls and Boys Foundation in Somali for orphan children's education and living allowance. EFSGBF built a school in Somalia in 2015, and we raise funds each year to pay teachers' salaries and provide sponsorship for children for tuition and living expenses. The children who enroll in the school do not pay fees because they cannot afford to attend other schools due to the costs.
Our board of directors would like to invite businesses and organizations to join us from 4 pm to 7 pm at Festival Hall and charge small table fees.
Per business is $15 and 10 for the organization so that the company can sell their products and not-for-profit organization can promote its programs.
There will be a fantastic DJ, George, who plays African, Caribbean, American and other music to dance to at the event from 8 pm to 11 pm.
The $20 ticket price includes admission, delicious Somali Beef Samosas & African Donuts.
The $25 ticket price includes admission, delicious Somali Beef Samosas, African Donuts & One Beer or Glass of Wine.
The price of drinks, One Pop or Water for $2 or a Beer or Glass of Wine, is $5.00
The proceeds of the tickets to Education for Somali Kids and drinks go to the African Caribbean Central of Central Alberta and Central Alberta Cameroonian Community.
