BLACK FUTURE LAWYERS SPEAKER SERIES

Black History Month @ Tories: Pop-up art with human rights address

In celebration of Black History Month, you are invited to experience a thought-provoking art installation featuring the work of three Toronto-based Black Canadian artists.

This celebration of emerging local talent brings together Toronto's artistic community and the legal community through the partnership of the Nia Centre for the Arts (Nia) with the law firm, Tory's LLP

In addition to the art installation, the program will include a joint address from Nia’s executive director, Alica Hall, and human rights lawyer, Anthony Morgan, which will begin at 10:15 am.

Complimentary light snacks and refreshments will be served.

ATTIRE: Business casual

EVENT SCHEDULE

  • 9:00 AM Check -in at Student Services in the UofT Law Jackman Law Building
  • 9:10 AM Depart by TTC, as a group from UofT Law to Tory's LLP
  • 10:00 -11:30 AM Speaker and exhibit
  • 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM Return by TTC to UofT Law
