This month: Artists!

This specific installment of the "Black in..." panel series, titled 'Black In Art 'is a collaboration with the Art Gallery of Regina.

We hope to share the practices of Black artists living in Saskatchewan, the paths they’ve followed in their artistic careers, their personal experiences of blackness and how this informs their art. We invite attendees to ask the artists questions that other artists may be struggling with or for their advice.

We hope this discussion will bring to light the importance of diversity and representation in the education system while also bringing awareness experiences and learning the various ways in which we can help combat racism in these environments.
