Event description
A panel discussion featuring Yusra Khogali, Robin Akimbo and L.A. Wade navigating spirituality and religion in Toronto as a Black community.

About this Event

How do traditional and major faiths discuss Blackness? How do we as Black people reconcile faith/spirituality and the influence of colonization on religion? What potential exists for unification amongst Black spiritual communities? How might we use faith as a form of resistance and radical self-care?

Focusing on how we use faith to fight back against daily injustices, BLACK Is My Religion will address some of the openings and restrictions religion offers our Black community.
