Event description

Picture yourself here! You are cordially invited to our Annual BLACK Women Connect Brunch!

Early Bird Ticket Price ends September 1, 2019.

…Where strangers become sister-friends...

Black Women Connect Book Club (BWCBC) is a collective of black women seeking to create a platform that allows us to celebrate our excellence and discuss our experiences with likeminded Black Women who are navigating life in Greater Toronto Area.

Our Brunch is designed specifically to celebrate and connect beautiful black women and ensure they have a wonderful time including gourmet food, carefully crafted cocktails, fabulous music, engaging authors and speakers. We are bringing together a community of Black Women with a love of living their best life, fashion, beauty, cocktails and of course books in a supportive, fun and elegant setting. Allowing them to network in a safe haven where they can chill, chat and connect meaningfully with each other.

Created by Black Women For Black Women so that Black women in Toronto are given the opportunity to come together in luxury settings surrounded by dope women, good food and an abundance of #blackgirlmagic.

In conversation with:

1) Zalika Reid-Bentu, Author of Fried Plantain

2) Yahaya Baruwa, Author of Stuggles of A Dreamer; Tunde: A Man Of Lost Tradition
