Event description

Description

This year we will be working on a project called the Blanket Project.

In support of the University of Calgary's Indigenous Strategy launching this fall, we provide the Kairos Blanket Exercise to students, faculty and staff. This workshop includes the use of a blanket kits as an integral part of the session. In support of this on-campus learning initiative, we are going to create a blanket kit as a service learning opportunity made by UCalgary students. The project is a collaboration between the Native Centre, Faith and Spirituality Centre, and Leadership and Student Engagement, students, staff and tecnical advisors.

On October 26th we will be providing those interested the opportunity to experience the Blanket Exercise, to better understand the importance, meaning and logisitical nature of the Blanket Project.
