About this event
Have you ever heard of or joined a hackathon? Are you under the age of 18 and curious to see how far you can take your unique set of skills and interests to solve real-world problems?
Indus Space is hosting a virtual youth version of the 2021 NASA Space Apps Challenge Youth Edition in the Greater Toronto Area for the second year!
Register for Blast Off To HackerSpace workshop series so you can prepare ahead of the main Space Apps Challenge. We want to give everybody an opportunity to explore what it takes to tackle a challenge in a hackathon - all about STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math).
Event facilitation will occur through Google Classroom.
This is a self paced course will have pre-recorded video session explaining each part of the hackathon process, worksheet templates, and an info session with past youth participants.
