Move into bliss.

Join seasoned teacher and local resident Nicole in a one-hour, smooth-paced yoga class in the centre of Hamilton. With thoughtful instruction, you will be guided through a yoga flow class incorporating a balanced sequence of standing, seated and relaxation poses.

Whether you're looking to recharge after a busy week or reset for the week ahead, this class will reinvigorate and rejuvenate you while gently building strength and length in your body. This class is suitable for all levels of experience.

Do I have to pre-register?

You do not have to pre-register but we recommend it in case there are any last-minute scheduling changes so that we can notify participants.

How much do the classes cost?

These are donation-based "pay what you can" (PWYC) classes, so donations are welcome but not required. A small jar is in the studio for your donations. Money received through donations will support us to host more free classes!

What time does that class start?

Class starts promptly at 10:30am. Doors will open at 10:15am so you can arrive with enough time to sign in and set up for class.

I've never done yoga before, can I still participate?

Yes! Thorough instruction will be provided during the class and you are encouraged to take it at your own pace. A range of modifications are offered to suit your needs so you can practice at your own pace or ability. If you are working with any injuries or ailments, please raise this before class so we can discuss specific modifications to your practice.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the class?

You must be 18 years or older to participate. All participants will be required to fill out a health check form and/or waiver form prior to participating in the class.

What should I bring to the class?

Please bring:
- Yoga mat (a few mats are available to borrow if you do not have your own).
- Water bottle
- Comfortable exercise clothing

Where is the class located?

Classes are conveniently located at 93 Emerald St North, easily accessible by bus or car. Street parking is available on Emerald St North and surrounding blocks.

The classes take place in a beautiful, open and light-filled living space. The building was formerly used as a church but is now a home studio. As this is home to Nicole, her husband and their two cats, please be respectful of the space and treat it as you would your own.

Eeek! I'm allergic to cats. Can I still come?

Yes you can! The space is a cat-free zone during yoga classes but if you have a severe sensitivity or allergy to cats please be aware that there are cats on the property.
