Blue Dot Toronto invites you to rally for environmental rights at the Centre for Social Innovation (Regent Park Lounge) followed by a march to Yonge-Dundas Square.


Speakers for the event include:

  • Lee Maracle, renowned Stö:lo poet, author, and activist

  • Angela Bischoff, Outreach Director at the Ontario Clean Air Alliance

  • Isaac Crosby, Urban  Agriculture Educator at Evergreen Brick Works 


This event is part of the Blue Dot National Day of Action, during which communities across Canada are raising awareness about the need to legally recognize the right to a healthy environment. The next federal election will be held a year from now,providing a great opportunity for Canadians to ask politicians where they stand on environmental rights.


When: Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Centre for Social Innovation, Regent Park Lounge, 585 Dundas St. East, Toronto.

What: As part of the Blue Dot 2018 National Day of Action, Blue Dot Toronto is holding a panel discussion on environmental rights. After the discussion, join us to decorate signs calling for environmental rights, followed by a 20-minute march to Yonge-Dundas Square!
