BOB WEBB - Lundis musicaux/Musical Mondays

Ayant grandi dans une famille de musiciens de la vallée de l'Outaouais, il y avait toujours beaucoup de musique dans notre maison. À l'âge de 21 ans, je jouais de la musique à temps plein à travers le pays, en passant deux ans en Alberta et trois ans en Colombie-Britannique.

Après avoir gagné le titre de Duo de l'année en C.-B. et avoir fait enregistrer 23 chansons par d'autres artistes, j'ai quitté la C.-B. et suis retourné dans la vallée de l'Outaouais. Depuis ce temps, je joue dans des groupes tels que The Pie Plates Bluegrass Band, The Bob Webb Bluegrass Band pour les Bluegrass Awards à Huntsville, j'accompagne d'autres musiciens au dobro et je chante en solo.

J'ai continué à écrire des chansons et j'ai enregistré trois de mes propres CD. Des artistes locaux, Rae Palmer et Levi Hart, ont également enregistré certaines de mes chansons.

Growing up in a musical family from the Ottawa Valley, there was always plenty of music in our house. By the time I was 21 years old, I was playing music full time right across the country spending two years in Alberta and three years in British Columbia.

After winning Duo of the year in B.C and having had 23 songs recorded by other artists, I left B.C. and returned to the Ottawa Valley. Since then, I have been playing in bands such as The Pie Plates Bluegrass Band, The Bob Webb Bluegrass Band for the Bluegrass Awards at Huntsville, accompanying other musicians on the dobro and singing solo gigs.

I have continued to write songs and have recorded three of my own CD’s. Local artists, Rae Palmer and Levi Hart, have also recorded some of my songs.
