BOBBY BAZINI - LIVE at Knox Hall (May 31, 2026)
Overview
Born in Mont-Laurier, Quebec, to music-loving parents, Bobby Bazini was introduced to the folk and country sounds of Americana from a young age. As a teenager, he moved in with his grandmother Louise, who encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. It was while exploring her Johnny Cash vinyl collection that he decided to make music his preferred means of expression, drawing inspiration from legends such as Bob Dylan and Otis Redding.
Bobby then began performing in the Laurentians and quickly gained attention. In 2007, the director of a local radio station sent his songs to a Montreal talent scout, who signed him to his first record deal. Two years later, Bobby released his first single, "I Wonder," which was an immediate hit in Canada, spending eight weeks in the top three of the Adisq charts. His first album, Better in Time, was quickly certified gold and a few months later certified platinum, then released by Warner Music France in 28 European countries.
