Event description

Description

The Bodyweight Workshop is a fun and friendly introduction to mastering the basic bodyweight movements. It is for MTB riders of all levels, whether you are a budding racer or sinmply enjoy riding trails for fun on the weekends. The workshop will cater for different strength levels, from beginner up to intermediate, and as your coach, I will meet you where you are at, teaching you the progressions you need to safely grow stronger. All you need is to be injury free and willing to get stuck in with a group of like minded riders who want to learn how to improve.

The course is for men and women from 18 years old and no previous gym or bodyweight training experience is necessary.

Bodyweight training is a massively under rated and versatile tool for building the strength you need for mountain biking and other sports. Using the techniques that I will teach you, you will learn to move safely through a variety of movements that will allow you to train smart, without injury, for years to come. Movements that we cover include:

Squat - Lunge - Step Up - Press Up - Pull Up - Horizontal Rows - Core Training - Crawls - Mobility - Warm Ups

As well as the coaching on the day you will receive a copy of the Bodyweight Strength Programme and Nutrition Guide to help you make real, tangible progress with your strength in 2018.

Do you want to do 15 full press ups in 2018?

Do you want to do a pull up for the first time in 2018?

Looking to get stronger for a trip to the Alps this summer?

Want to climb harder, for longer without back pain?

If so, then this is the course for you.
