Event description

Description

Bollinger Champagne House has created prestigious champagnes distinguished by elegance and complexity since 1829. These outstanding wines are the result of rigorous attention to detail, for Bollinger accepts nothing less than excellence, with an uncompromisingly independent spirit that exemplifies the elegance for which the Champagne region is renowned. This devotion to excellence so inspired the Court of England that Bollinger has been awarded the Royal Warrant since 1884. Come and explore these world-renowned wines in an in-depth lecture and tasting at George Brown College’s newly renovated state-of-the-art Wine Lab.

Expert sommelier Adrian Caravello, Beverage Business Management Coordinator at George Brown College, will lead the seminar and tasting. Ian and Andrew Hanna from Bollinger Champagne House will join him to share their insights into the production of their exemplary champagnes. There will also be a light fare of cheeses to add fun and interest to the evening.

The class will taste these four incredible wines:

  • N/V Bollinger Special Cuvée
  • N/V Bollinger Brut Rosé
  • 2007 Bollinger La Grande Anne
  • 2002 Bollinger R.D. Extra Brut

A portion of all proceeds will go to The George Brown College Foundation to support student scholarships at The Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts.
