Event description

Description

The Bollinger Champagne House has created prestigious champagnes with character, distinguished by their elegance and complexity, since 1829. These outstanding wines are the result of rigorous attention to detail — and every detail represents a quest for perfection. This dedication to achievement without compromise and independent spirit exemplify the elegance for which the Champagne region is renowned. The Court of England was so impressed by the Bollinger Champagne House that they have been awarded the Royal Warrant since 1884.

Explore these world-renowned wines in an in-depth lecture and tasting in George Brown College's state-of-the-art wine lab. Adrian Caravello, GBC expert sommelier and Advanced Wine and Beverage Business Management Coordinator, joined by Bollinger representatives, will lead the seminar and tasting. They'll discuss Bollinger's history and the production methods, giving you an intimate understanding of some of Champagne's most exceptional wines.

You will be tasting these four incredible wines:

  • 2008 Grande Année
  • 2007 Grande Année Rosé
  • NV Special Cuvée
  • NV Rosé

A light fare of cheeses to accompany the wines will make the tasting fun and exciting. We look forward to exploring Bollinger Champagne with you!
