Willows Grocery is more than your local corner store. I'm sure you've heard of us? You know, the awesome corner store on Eastdowne across from Oak Bay High School.

Believe it or not we have been around for over 104 years! Yes we have groceries, but did you know we also offer delicious and fresh Indian food.

Bollywood Oak Bay 2016

Bollywood Oak Bay 2016 is a special "Bollywood Evening" - an evening of Indian dancing, food, fancy dress and celebration. $30 per person. Adults Only this evening.

The purpose of this event is to thank the volunteers and market vendors who have helped make the Oak Bay Night Market such a success. But of course everyone who attends the Oak Bay Night Market might enjoy coming.

The market is now in its 8th season. It is run by Elizabeth Smith of President of the Oak Bay Business Improvement Association (the BIA) and it is the BIA which "own" the market. Liz is also co-owner and President of Athlone Travel (Oak Bay) Ltd. Heather Leary is the consultant to Liz who has worked so hard over so many years to help Liz and the volunteers achieve the results we are now celebrating.

$30 each person. Fantastic Bollywood evening of Indian Music and Dancing. The event includes a buffet of Indian food.

Bollywood or Indian Cinema is popular for the vibrancy, colors, songs & dance sequences etc.. But I think the main attraction is Bollywood films portray a dream like world ..where everything turns out right, good wins over evil, hero gets the heroine and love wins all!!! Total relaxing 2-3 hours which takes you a different colorful and sometimes a total no-brainer or stress atmosphere!!

So I think that's what the basic underlying theme should be dreamy, vibrant, relaxing and colorful!!
