Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Every year, approximately 3,600 people commit suicide across Canada due to depression and mental illness. And according to The Guardian, "somewhere in the world, someone takes their life every 40 seconds".

This is one of the reasons why artist and author, Madette Mendoza is launching #AntilogyMovement -- an initiative that encourages people to turn their struggles into a positive experience through healthy, creative outlets.

Antilogy is Madette’s debut book that offers a raw look into her past coping with depression, anxiety, fear, perfectionism, body image, spiritual warfare, and suppression, letting others know that they are not alone in their struggle and that there is a way out.

Madette and Victorine Publishing are coming together to raise funds for Workman Arts, a multidisciplinary arts and mental health organization internationally-known for its creative and educational initiatives to raise awareness of the positive impact art can have on people with mental illness and addiction (www.workmanarts.com).

You will...

  • feel empowered & gain ideas that build resilience mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually
  • be the first to get an exclusive preview of Madette’s debut book before public release
  • hear personal stories never told, about depression, anxiety, perfectionism, spiritual warfare, and suppression
  • be comforted in knowing You Are Not Alone
  • be entertained & inspired by guest speakers & performers
  • receive a complimentary gift of empowerment
  • enjoy food & refreshments!

BRING YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS! And support a cause that affects us all. By attending, spreading the word, or purchasing the book for yourself or a friend in need of encouragement, together we can shape a healthier and happier future for humanity.
