Bookkeeping 102: Accounting Software Basics

• Pros and Cons of Quickbooks and Sage, online or desktop versions

• Software costs and discounts

• Can you hire someone to set your business accounting up for you? Can you do the rest yourself?

Workshop Series:

Bookkeeping 103: Payroll/GST (Tuesday, May 31)

• Setting up and processing payroll, T4’s, ROE’s

• What documents do I need?

• Source deductions and remittances to CRA

• Collecting and remitting GST to CRA

• Do I have to hire someone to do this, or can I do it myself?

Meet Your Presenter: Pamela Devins

Pamela has many years of accounting and administrative experience in many different industries.

Pamela graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology/Sociology. Pamela is certified in Payroll, Health and Safety and Bookkeeping. She is currently completing her Business Administrative Degree with focus in accounting.

Pamela enjoy systems – figuring out what works best and creating work processes around that! She also enjoy animals, travel, and her family.
