Booze, Broads & Brothels
Description
ABOUT THE TOUR
Join an adventure back to Calgary's early days, when our city was notorious as “the booze, brothel, and gambling capital" of the Canadian West.
We'll walk the same streets that 120 years ago were only dirt roads on the banks of the Bow and Elbow Rivers. You'll hear some unbelievable stories about the people, places, and politics of Calgary's still robust sex industry, which, although begrudgingly acknowledged, is rarely visible to those who aren't looking for it.
Let's go find it -- together!
