Event description
Discover Manitoba's native trees at this family fun workshop!

About this Event

Trees, we see them every day, but have you ever stopped and wondered what the name of that particular species is, why it grows in that place or even how people use that tree? Join a Park Interpreter in learning about Manitoba’s vast boreal forest and head out on the Nimowin Trail where we will use forestry equipment to discover Manitoba’s native trees. Afterwards, enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows around a campfire.

Location: Interpretive Workshop (located at the end of Nimowin Road).

Please let us know if you require accessibility accommodations. Event presented in English. For more information, please call 204-654-6739 or email ParkInterpretation@gov.mb.ca.

Remember, vehicle permits are required year round in provincial parks.
