About this event

Women are majority owners of about 15.6 percent of Small Medium Enterprises with one or more employees . But women account for over 37 percent of self-employed Canadians. Despite the value of their contributions, women entrepreneurs face multiple barriers to success across different dimensions

For this reason BBPA continues to empower Black women entrepreneurs with the skills and resources necessary to excel in the face of these barriers.

After 5 successful cohorts, BBPA is back with the Season 6 of the Boss Women Entrepreneurial Program!

Not sure what the program is about? The BWEP is a bootcamp that teaches Black women entrepreneurs on ways to execute a business idea, scale up an existing business, financial planning, accounting, marketing, sales and more for 13 weeks.

Starting on March 29, Nadine Spencer, one of Toronto’s most prominent Black female entrepreneurs, together with other influential partners will kickoff this Mastercalss for the 6th cohort. Other facilitators will include professionals and business leads from Ryerson, Pinterest, Futurepreneur, TJMaxx, Government of Canada and more. The BBPA Boss Women Entrepreneurship Training Sponsored by Ryerson and TJMaxx.

It will be an immensely practical and engaging session each week.
