CALLING ALL POETS!
Sheath your writing quill for the evening and crack open your journal for all to hear.
We're eager to listen. This is meant to be a space of compassionate community. All topics are welcome, all people are welcome. We'd love to hear more BIPOC voices in the mix.
Join us and be welcomed into this cozy group of poets of all ages and all experience levels.
Beginners welcome! Just walk in and sign up. Time limits will depend on the number of poets who register.
Cost: Event is free but donations to the venue are welcome.
Accessibility: The venue has just one step to enter into the building, and one step to get up on stage. A gender neutral bathroom is available on the same level.
Drinks: Non-alcoholic drinks are available at the venue.
Content warning: The topics covered may be intense or triggering for people. Viewer discretion is advised.

How do you want to get there?
Sign-up and settle in
Find the host Andie and give her your name to get on the list. You can read a poem you wrote or a poem that inspires you by another poet. You'll be asked if you're comfortable having your photo taken and being tagged on Instagram @Brantfordpoets
Poets - First Round
Poets who sign up on the first round will be given the option to read again on the second round, but it's not required. You can read one or more poems during your slot, as long as we don't have too many readers to get through that evening.
Quick Break
An opportunity to give other poets props, let them know you like their work and ideas, use the bathroom, grab a drink, pick up a record and screen-printed sweater from zBTFD...
