This October 26 the Abbotsford Police Foundation is holding its second annual
Breakfast with the Chief Fundraiser - Crime is Toast!
We invite you to attend and bring along your colleagues, family and friends to show support for the great work of the brave men and women of the Abbotsford Police Department (APD). Our fundraiser helps our police make Abbotsford the safest city in BC by supporting APD initiatives that build positive connections between police and the community. Your support allows us to continue offering our current programs:
Uniformed APD Officers visit children in hospital throughout the year, leaving them with a keepsake ‘Hector the Protector’ toy.
Annual Abbotsford Police City Basketball Tournament
750 players, 76 games – playing to promote positive choices for youth through basketball.
Annual Abbotsford Police Camp
A week long day camp for kids age 6 - 10, interacting with local police and learning new skills.
2016 Fundraising Project: Specialized Equipment
In 2016 our goal is to purchase a 4x4 Gator ATV to help ensure APD can police remote areas of Abbotsford not easily accessible by road.
