About this event
Part Two of the Colors of Film two-part media literacy workshops, 'Breaking (the) News,' will engage participants in building an understanding of the role of media, especially the news, in society and the essential skills of inquiry and self-expression necessary for citizens of a democracy.
The workshops will be held at South Carolina State University in accordance with the University’s COVID protocols, with an online contingency plan if in-person workshops are not possible due to the pandemic.
Mahkia Greene, an experienced educator and film maker, will facilitate the workshops.
