Description

An art exhibition from a series of photo campaign that tackle stigma surrounding LGBTQ+, HIV+ racism and mental health. The intention is intended to raise awareness that stigma are hurtful to others, even in jokes.

The events will be held on August 8 2017 at Shadbolt Center for the Arts in Burnaby starting from 6pm onwards. After the exhibition, there will be a film screening "This Is Gay Propaganda" by Marusya Bociurkiw, a Ukrainian-Canadian filmmaker. This exhibition is organized and supported by Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) and Youth Enganging Youth in-line with Canada 150.

Two guest speakers: Paola Quiros & Krusheska Quirós with music performance by AutoHeart

This is a free-for-all event and snacks will be provided.
