Deepen your relationship to your breath, and your life. Breathwave is a gentle style of breathwork to support you in connecting more deeply to your authentic self.

Why do we do breathwork?

Life is full of ebbs and flows which invite us to feel the full range of human emotions. Yet, we don’t always have the tools or capacity to fully feel what wants to be felt, and emotions can get stored in the body. Unprocessed emotions can restrict our breath pattern and create a range of physical and emotional symptoms. As we consciously open and connect our breathing in a relaxed state of being, the nervous system is allowed to integrate these emotions, and we are enabled to shed old layers and accumulate wisdom. We breathe fully to oxygenate the body, retrain our unconscious breath pattern, move what wants to be moved, and feel what wants to be felt. Through this practice we begin to find more freedom in our breath, which is then reflected in our life, as each is simply a reflection of the other.

Details:

  • The practice is done lying on our backs for 1 hour. We have yoga mats, blankets and props for your comfort.
  • Please bring a water bottle.
  • There is free parking on the street
  • Please register in advance via eventbrite.

Facilitators:

Jessica Hill is a breathwork facilitator, yoga teacher, farmer, mentor for girls and has completed a BASc in Sustainable Agriculture. She is devoted to building community, connecting with Mother Earth and living a healthy lifestyle. Jessica believes that gathering in circle to connect ourselves is the most healing and profound thing we can do, as cultures around the world have been doing for time immemorial. To her, breathwork is a path where we are empowered to become our own healers in a supportive setting. Jessica is continuously awed by the power of the breath and it brings her heart great joy to share its beauty.


Adrianna Hepper is passionate about conscious, connected Breathwork for parasympathetic relaxation, trauma resolution and the betterment of well people. In this practice, Adrianna has both experienced and witnessed the vast healing benefits of oxygenating the human body through these extra-ordinary breathing patterns. It is Adrianna's privilege and honour to stand as a gentle witness and support to others' healing journeys through the effortless activation of the breath.
