Hello & Welcome Vendors!

This is a ticket/application for people wishing to participate in Bridge St. Summer Fest. This event is free for the general public.

Our Bridge St.Summer Fest is the place to be this August long weekend (formally the Bridge Street Bazaar). Our fabulous downtown welcomes you to participate in a day filled with Live Music, Stalwarts Beer Garden, Carleton Place Farmers Market, Health & Wellness Mini Expo, an amazing Hometown Hearts Kid Zone, Wally's Classic: National Log Lift Competiton. Guest will also love our wonderful stores and the great variety of restaurants and patios! Downtown Carleton Place and the Mississippi River are the perfect back drop for you to sell your treasures, share your talents, market your business and market your great cause! We hope you will join us, we can't wait to work with you. Vendors specializing in hand made products, collectibles, antiques, home based businesses, local business, service groups and non-profits will be featured in the Bridge St. Summer Fest Markets on Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 9 am to 3 pm.

Applications for vendor space, in conjunction with payment via Eventbrite must be sent to info@downtowncarletonplace.com.

Application deadline is July 14, 2017 or while spaces last.

PLEASE NOTE, there are only 50 Maker Market Spaces.

  • A short description (approx. 50 words) of your products and business.
  • Would like electricity Yes or No
  • Do you require a table, chairs (2), or a tent (limited amount).

  • Confirmation that the Terms and Conditions & Waiver were read and accepted.

By submitting your application and payment for a vendor a space (s) at the Bridge St. Summer Fest August 5, 2017, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

  • I understand that by apply as a 'Maker' Vendor, I confirm that I make or design all the products that I am selling myself. I understand that not complying with this rule may cause the withdrawal of my acceptance and/or my removal from the show (without refund) and it will jeopardise future applications.
  • I understand that as an exhbitor, my products shall be clean and buyable.
  • I understand that as an exhibitor, my products/services, table, displays, and likeness may be photographed.
  • I agree to being photographed at Bridge St. Summer Fest. In addition, I agree to allow these photos to be used for promotional purposes.
  • I understand that I may not share or sublet my table without the show organizer's permission.
  • I understand that I must do my very best to stay inside my allotted and purchased space.
  • I understand that if I am a food vendor, I must display all allergy warnings at my table.
  • I understand that any photos and logos I submit as a part of the application process may be used on promotional materials for the show.
  • I understand that if I am a 'no show' (i.e. pay the table fee and not show up to the show), that it may affect whether or not I am accepted to future shows.
  • I understand that I am legally liable for any negative consequences resulting from the purchase or consumption of my products.
  • I understand and agree that Downtown Carleton Place Business Improvement Area (BIA) and volunteers of Bridge St. summer Fest nor the Town of Carleton Place are legally liable for any merchandise, behaviour or equipment and therefore cannot be held responsible for any injury, death or negative consequence as a result of a vendor's participation in the show.
  • Bridge St. Summer Fest reserves the right to restrict any vendor's participation in the show at any time.
  • I understand that I must cancel within 5 days of being confirmed to the show and before the applications deadline, to receive a refund. I understand that after that date, my payment will be processed even if I cannot participate.
  • I am aware of the various deadlines involved in applying and that I am responsible for sending in payments and/or required paperwork on time.
  • The fee for the fest will be based on the selected size of your vendor space limit TWO spaces/buisness each space is 10x10.
  • Vendors must provide their own tables, tents, & chairs.
  • Vendors are allowed to bring their own shade tent, however it MUST remain within the measurements of their purchased space 10x10 and not impede other vendors.

In consideration of me being permitted to participate in the Bridge St. Summer Fest; coordinated by Downtown Carleton Place (BIA); I hereby acknowledge and agree for myself:

  • That I hereby release and discharge Downtown Carleton Place (BIA), the Corporation of the Town of Carleton Place, and its employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions or causes of action for any loss, injury, or damage to my person or my property incurred by reason of my participation in the program, including any that may be due to negligence of any of those persons;
  • That I hereby indemnify and hold harmless the persons mentioned the above designated organization or group facilitating this program, against any and all liabilities, actions, claims and demands whatsoever that may be made against them, or any of them, arising from or by reason of my participation in this program.

I HEREBY DECLARE THAT WITH THE PURCHASE OF VENDOR SPACE, to include VIA EVENBRITE, I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING WAIVER AND INDEMNITY AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS.

Event Day Set up:

  • you may arrive on Bridge Street to set up at 6:30 am to set up your display.

  • No vehicles will be allowed on Bridge Street areas after 8:15 am

  • make sure you are set up and ready to go by 9:00 am

  • All vendors are expected to sell cash & carry items, as well as take orders.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Cancellations must be requested within 5 days of being confirmed to the show and before the application deadline of July 14, 2017 to receive a refund. After that date no refund is possible.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking areas will be marked on the day of the event. No vehicles will be allowed in the festival area after 8:15 am. Drop off vendor areas will be indicated. Vendors are asked to offload and move their vehicle, then return to complete setup in order to ensure equitable accesibility for all vendors. Volunteers will be on site, please indicate if you need help, please be patient, we will get you to your spot.
