The Lunenburg Lyme Association is a newly-formed registered non-profit society comprised of residents of the South Shore, many of whom are Lyme disease survivors. Our mandate is:

  1. to build awareness about the prevention, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases with a focus on the needs of individual patients;
  2. to provide opportunities for physicians, Lyme researchers, scientists and others to share and respond to diverse perspectives on the complexity of the disease; and
  3. to seek common ground among Lyme disease patients and the medical community.

The Lunenburg Lyme Association gratefully recognizes the support of the Province of Nova Scotia (Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage), the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation, the Town of Bridgewater, the Town of Mahone Bay, and the Town of Lunenburg, along with all those who donated funds to help fund the conference. Thank you.
