Event description
Join Energy Equine and Dechra in an intensive CE for veterinarians and farriers with Dr. Scott Fleming of Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital.

About this Event

Led by veterinary podiatrist, Dr. Scott Fleming, this CE will integrate the theoretical, dynamic and practical application of shoeing practices to treat and maintain horses with commonly found sport-related injuries. Live case examples will include navicular, proximal suspensory injuries and stifle injuries. A large focus of this CE will be on shoeing for the surface and how farriers and veterinarians can proactively shoe horses to maintain a certain level of competition, despite injury.

Schedule:

The days will be divided in half, with each am/pm session featuring a 2 hour lecture by Dr. Fleming, followed by the practical application of discussed techniques through a dynamic exam in a clinical setting. Radiographs and ultrasounds of each equine involved in the CE will be done beforehand and provided to attendees to view.
