BridgingTheGap Forums and Global People’s Summit are proud to partner to present the 2019 BridgingTheGap to Youth Forum around the 74th United Nations General Assembly. The global forum aims to empower, engage and connect young people and influencers from around the world to innovate solutions to some of the world’s most challenging issues. Programming

We aim to bridge opportunity gaps by uniting high-profile decision-makers with emerging young talent to co-create solutions to social and economic challenges , including the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

1) REGISTER AND INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TO ENGAGE IN THE ONLINE SUMMIT

From anywhere in the world, you can share your ideas, follow the discussions, ask speakers questions and connect with others! All you need is a laptop, phone and internet! 2) INFLUENCE THE PROGRAM

Directly influence our program and the focus of the dialogues by submitting your ideas and questions for specific panels, topics and/or your favourite speakers in advance of our forum.

3) JOIN THE ONLINE CONVERSATIONS TO BE SHOWCASED AT THE FORUM

Register to participate in the live-stream and post your questions and ideas on social media (e.g. Twitter and Instagram) with the hashtag #btgtoyouth to join the conversation. Your social media content will be featured at the Forum and on the global livestream, and more importantly, sent directly to the moderator and speakers during the live programming so they can engage with you!

4) HOST A VIEWING PARTY /GLOBAL PEOPLE HUB

Bring the global conversation to your community and put your community on the map. Viewing parties or "Global People Hubs" are independently organized events that take place all around the world during the BridgingTheGap to Youth Forum on 18 September. These gatherings help amplify global engagement around the Forum. We encourage events of all sizes. You can host Viewing Party at your school, home, community center, office, government building - it's super easy. All you need is a space to host the event, the internet, a screen or projector, your ideas and your community!
